Asset Management Plan
With the assistance of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, we have completed our Asset Management Plan for the Town of Burgeo. This invaluable tool will allow us to plan and prepare for the maintenance of all of our Town assets now, and in the future. This document is available to the public and can be downloaded here.

PUBLIC MEETING
Burgeo Town Council wishes to advise residents that a regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 7:00PM (Municipal Building – Council Chambers). This meeting has been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances. We apologize for the short notice.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Starting on Saturday, November 2, restoration work will begin on Smalls Island that will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks. We are asking the public to refrain from the area as much as possible during this time. We appreciate your patience and understanding and apologize for the inconvenience.
Workplace Safety Training
Workplace NL Fall Protection and Confined Space training will be delivered in, and hosted by, the Town of Burgeo this November.
These courses are presented by Safety NL and will be completed over 4 days, currently scheduled for the week of November 25th, 2024.

SERVICE CANADA
Service Canada will be in town Wednesday, November 6 from 11am - 4pm. For those with mobility issues and cannot climb the stairs, please contact the town office for an appointment at 709-886-2250.
Town Water
September 23, 2024 - A Boil Water Advisory has been issued effective immediately. We greatly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
October 12, 2024 - Due to ongoing issues in the Water Treatment Plant, you will notice some discoloration in the water for the next few days. We apologize for the short notice.
